Holy Trinity Rosehill CE VA Primary School will be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Afternoon on Friday, 28th September
2018 from 3.10pm – 3.45pm on Trinity Yard.
Annual coffee events across the country have been highly effective in making sure that nobody faces cancer alone and Holy Trinity Rosehill CE VA Primary School would also like to embrace this wonderful project, welcoming parents, carers and the local community to catch up over a cup of tea, enjoy some scrumptious treats and donate the cost of the cuppa to Macmillan Cancer Research!
By joining Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event, we’ll be collecting funds to provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support for people facing cancer, as well as campaigning for better cancer care. There are now 2.5million people in the UK living with cancer. By 2030, it is estimated to be 4 million people, and Macmillan’s goal is tobe there for each and every one of them.
It would be great if you could come along to this wonderful event and even bring along other family and friends to sponsor the cause. Tea / coffee and cake, will be available to purchase.
All cake / cupcakes / biscuits / tea / coffee / milk contributions and monetary donations are highly appreciated. The funds raised will all be sent to Macmillan. Could you bring any cake / cupcakes / biscuits to either office first thing Friday morning or send into school with your child. If you are making cakes, it would be really appreciated if they are ‘nut free’, as some of our children have nut allergies.
Many thanks for your support and we look forward to enjoying a cup of coffee with you! Yours sincerely,
Mrs A Swift Head Teacher
