Our children spent a wonderful afternoon setting up camp and reading their favourite books outside. Early Years and Key Stage 1 were visited by some characters from Page to Stage, who were fabulous story-tellers; the Camp of Champions had a Bible Tent, where they brought stories from the Bible to the children and our Year 6 librarians also did a marvelous job at bringing stories to life for all of the classes. Hopefully the children have been inspired to set up their own camps at home over the summer holidays to enjoy their books under the sun.
