Y6 JC

Class: Y6 JC

Teacher: Miss J. Cook
               Mrs J. Harris (Fridays)

TAs: Mrs J. Ross-Heeley and Mrs J McGee

About our class:

In Y6JC, we have 30 children (19 girls and 11 boys). We are going to work extremely hard to catch up with our work we missed last year. This year we are excited to be the oldest in the school and the responsibilities that we will be given. We will be reading Holes by Louis Sachar and Letters from the Lighthouse by Emma Carroll. We know at the end of the year we will be all moving onto our secondary schools so we need to make the most of our last year in primary school with our friends.

Class Christian Values
As a class, we have chosen to focus upon the following Christian values this year:

ENDURANCE
‘Let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.’
Hebrew 12.1

THANKFULNESS
“In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Thessalonians 5:18

What we need to remember:

Home contacts books, reading books and reading journals must be in school EVERY day.
Tuesdays and Fridays are our PE days.
Wednesdays ~ Maths and English homework.
Thursdays ~ Spellings.
